Dustin graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2019. During his time at Mitchell Hamline, Dustin first interned at Goodhue County Justice Center under the guidance of district court judges. During his second and third years, Dustin worked as a law clerk in insurance defense, personal injury, and construction litigation. In this work, he participated in both plaintiff and defense side litigation.
Throughout law school, Dustin participated in academic journals. First, he worked as an associate editor for Cybaris®, an Intellectual Property Law Review. Dustin also developed and managed a digital policy blog for the Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Policy and Practice.
Dustin has a background in the sciences and music, which strengthen the creative and technical aspects of his legal practice. He enjoys the variety of work at Davis Rothwell and believes in the importance of communication, creative problem-solving, and cost-effective planning to bring favorable resolutions to each matter.
In his free time, Dustin enjoys running, biking, tennis, playing piano, and spending time with family.
