Earning Your Trust Through Hard Work and Smart Work
Hilary A. Boyd is a Washington- and Oregon-licensed attorney handling civil litigation and insurance defense cases in both states. She is a cum laude graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law. Over a span of eight years as a criminal defense attorney she tried dozens of cases as lead counsel in front of juries in Washington State, most of them felony cases in Superior Courts, and has represented citizens accused of the most serious felonies.
After becoming licensed in Oregon in 2015, she practiced administrative law in workers’ compensation, defending the rights of employers and insurers, before entering civil litigation and insurance defense practice in January of 2016. She has worked on and litigated civil suits and claims in a wide variety of areas, including residential real estate, unlawful trade practices, boundary disputes, construction defects, automobile accidents, premises liability, product liability, discrimination, SLAPP, defamation, false imprisonment, assault and battery, landlord-tenant matters, and contract terms.
Hilary spends her time off with her husband and son, and also loves reading, hiking, and playing fierce games of canasta with extended family.
