Kepa is a licensed attorney in Oregon and Washington and focuses his practice on civil litigation and insurance defense. Born and raised in rural Nevada, Kepa grew up in his father’s restaurant where he learned first-hand how hard it is to start, maintain, and protect a small business. As a former Teach for America corps member, Kepa enjoys educating his clients on the legal issues they face. He places a premium on clear communication to ensure clients are making informed decisions and protecting their interests.
Kepa joined our firm after practicing industrial insurance defense in Washington. Kepa represented clients ranging from federal and local governments to multi-national corporations on issues involving complex questions of causation and the impact of novel statutory schemes. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Law, Kepa clerked in one of the highest-volume general jurisdiction courts in Nevada. There, he gained valuable insight into judges’ thought processes, efficient case management, written advocacy, and experience with both criminal and civil legal issues.
During his free time, Kepa enjoys golfing, cycling, home-brewing, and rooting on the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Portland Timbers.
