Avery graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2023. While in law school she served as a board member of the Women’s Law Forum and the Estate Planning and Probate Law Forum. She was awarded a certificate from the Frohnmeyer Leadership Program and received pro bono honors. Her pro bono work included helping establish a clinic for law students to aid with immigration matters for juveniles. Avery is fluent in Spanish and enjoys any opportunity to help Spanish speaking clients. While in law school she had the opportunity to extern with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and with United States Federal District Court Judge Hon. Ann Aiken.

Avery received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah and prior to starting law school she worked in various positions in government and advocacy. In her free time Avery enjoys playing piano, hosting dinner parties, running, and online shopping.
